Sparkle, Spells, & a Wicked Sisterhood
Kelsey KoukolThis Wicked-themed joint birthday party was straight out of Oz! Celebrating Olivia turning 10 and Ansli turning 4, the decor was inspired by the contrasting worlds of Elphaba and Glinda - bold, green magic countered by the soft, pink sparkle.
The backdrop featured oversized marquee numbers surrounded by lush balloon installs, connected by a split-fringe ceiling in a Glinda pink and Elphaba green. Custome "Wicked" vinyl brought both sides together in perfect harmony, just like our favorite unlikely duo.
Kids tables were styled with themed plates and matching party hats. Greenery-filled vases and floral details added an enchanted garden feel.
One of the most show-stopping elements of this Wicked celebration was the balloon styling - playfully dramatic and bursting with character. The white bounce house turned into a centerpiece thanks to a cascading garland with oversized starbursts and delicate bubble accents. The whole setup had a Glinda-meets-Elphaba vibe - equal parts sparkle and spellbinding.
Outside, a giant clear inflatable dome became a magical wonderland filled with balloons in the party's signature palette. The surrounding garlands made it look like it had landed straight from Oz. Whether bouncing, lounging, or simply admiring, guests were fully immersed in the fantasy. These installs werent' just decor - they were an experience. Bold, whimsical, and totally Wicked.
No Wicked party is complete without treats, and this one delivered: themed cookies and cupcakes were decorated with iconic imagery such as spell circles, witch hats, and the famous silhouette of Elphaba herself.
All in all, it was a celebration where magic met mischief - and everyone left changed for good.
